IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
Friday, January 15, 2010 is the deadline to apply for an absentee application for the Special State Election on January 19, 2010.
The Town Clerk's office will be open on Friday, January 15th, from 8am-5pm, for any resident requiring an absentee application and they may also vote at the clerk's office by absentee ballot today if they will be out of town on January 19th.
The Special State Election is on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 from 7am-8pm at the Dighton Elementary School.
The Town Hall will be closed on Monday, January 18th in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Nomination papers for the Annual Town Election are currently available at the Town Clerk's office. Any resident who takes out Nomination Papers for an open office must submit their papers to the Clerk's Office by Thursday, February 18, 2010 at 5pm. Last day to register to vote for the Annual Town Election is Thursday, March 18, 2010.
