Mission

The Dighton Highway Department exists to provide its residents and visitors a safe means of travelling from home to destinations in and out of Dighton. Streets are promptly cleared of snow and ice and any other hazard that impedes safe transit. Sidewalks, drainage provisions, and signage along town ways are maintained as needed. The Highway Department’s early response system enables Police, Fire and Ambulance services to serve its residents in all adverse weather conditions.
